Sherwood M. Dixon, MD, FACS

Dr. Dixon was born in Reno and attended college at the University of Oregon and subsequently the University of Nevada in Reno.  He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.  Dr. Dixon completed his residency in General Surgery at the University of California - Davis.  He then completed a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at the University of California in Los Angeles as well as an Endovascular Surgery Fellowship at Mercy Regional Heart and Vascular Institute in Muskegon, Michigan. He became Board Certified in General Surgery in 1982.  Dr. Dixon is the Director of Endovascular Services at Renown Regional Medical Center.
